Tomyam Udg Galah

Last Monday terserempak dgn Pasar Malam kt Sek. 18, then ada jual udg galah. The price waaayyyy cheaper as compared to Pasar Sek 6 (so called Pasar Mak Datin) So, terus tangkap masuk bakul but i just bought less than 1kg..Family kecik la kata..beli byk2 jenuh la pulak kan..Memandangkan minggu ni zaman malas melanda..tak tau la pesal..kalau u alls tgk mmg tk de n3 masak dlm minggu ni kan..hmm tu la dia dok pikir la bila nk ngabih kan stok udg ni..lagi 2 hari dh nk masuk minggu lain pulak kan..So, pagi td merajinkan diri masak tomyam utk lunch n dinner malam ni..tp sorry la tk dak resepi best pun coz i suruh cik ADABI siapkan rencah tomyam for me. I just koyak peket tomyam putih then pour half pot with air, biar mendidih then masukkan udg galah, carrot, dan sotong, biar mendidih lagi pas2 bubuh la sayuran yg anda suka, saya letak cauliflower n mushroom plus fish kek yg dipotong nipis memanjang, then masukkan jus limau kasturi utk dptkan kemasaman yg diimpikan, biarkan didih lg n taraaaaaaaaaa..jdla tomyam kuah putih. BTW masukkan jugak daun limau purut, bwg besar yg di hiris, halia, lengkuas dan serai utk menambah aroma.

happy weekend..but then kak kimie, i just used the packet instead. Nothing special anyway. But its refreshing.

kak kimi, the secret to marvelous tom yum is using sos ikan/sotong from thai tu..perghh regardless wat type of recipe if u use tht sos mg sedap mcm ori tom yum..dont use salt..for red tom yum beli paste kt kedai tu..campak je suma yg berkenan..

ladies...jgn boh byk sgt the fish sauce tu..lagi satu kalau nak kuah tom yam tu lg marveles blend kulit udg (make sure rebus dulu sat) peh2 tapis n tuang dlm kuah tu..nnt nampak mcm boh santan walhalnya mai dr kulit udg tu la..n rasa dia..MARVELOSO!!

yup cudn't agree more!! ala kak kimi, masak je, belasah sorang2 hahah..wat cfood tom yum pun sedap gak..ye kak kimi no need salt..sos ikan tu pun sedap kalau kak kimi nak stim ikan siakap..kak kimi perah limau,serai,daun limau purut,cili padi,halia,bwg merah & garlic, lumurkan kat ikan then stim..believe me, ur family mesti suka..mkn dgn nasi panas mmm..as zaid warning..the sauce is too salty, so beware..kang macin!!
