Lemony Roasted Chicken with Herbs

Last nite I roasted a chicken served with gravy, coleslaw( as usual) and garlic bread (bought ready made from bakery). Memang habih la sekali hadap kan, lagipun ayam tu dalam 1kg++ lebih sikit je, tak besar sangat. The lemony taste was quite significant. So that's why I named it Lemony Roasted Chicken with herbs. Marinated just before I left for work then bila balik I roasted for about 1 hr 15minutes. So, the top side a bit crunchy but so tender, sampaikan boleh patahkan tulang temulang dia dgn tgn je tak payah nak karate dgn pisau potong daging tu. Tapi utk nampak potongan yg neat and tidy, i just used my kitchen scissors. My husband and the children mmg menikmatinya sesungguh hati pasal memasing tak bercakap masa makan..kehehehehe. Ye lah kalau makan kat luar esp kat KR Roasters restaurant tu, 1/4 chicken meals pun dah RM15 sorang, kalau campur air dah dekat RM20 sorang, so mcm we all kena beli 3 meals, kira sendiri la ye berapa ongkosnya, so bila roast sendiri kat rumah, utk ayam je baru cost RM12 (as I'm using Ayam Kampung), then yg lelain tu mmg dah ada stock kat rumah kan..so all in all roughly tak sampai RM20 for the whole family ( family we all ni lah kan) JIMAT tak??? JIMATLAH.. The gravy yg lebih tu I simpan so mlm ni boleh guna utk masak dgn pasta...hehehehehe. 'Sep' sikit kanna. So layan la gambar dinner kami anak beranak malam tadi...Chalo!!

ehehehehe..tak pa kak ezza next time boleh try, tp kalau nak rasa tu melekat kt bibir, kasi la balance rasa lemon dgn gula tu, mmg betul2 syiok.benda buat sendiri ni mmg tk de sukatan so boleh ejas secukup rasa la..selamat mencuba...
